Corrections Policy
Corrections Policy
How Newspaper handles errors, source changes, and edition corrections.
Report an error
Use the Forge feedback control and choose Bug or Concern. Name the edition date, headline, disputed claim, and supporting source when possible.
Correction standard
Material factual errors are corrected in the archived edition. A visible correction note should describe what changed and when; corrections must not silently alter the historical record.
Broken sources
The generator checks for confirmed dead links before publication. Publishers can still move or remove pages later; a later broken link does not by itself make the sourced claim false.
Uncertainty
When reliable accounts conflict, the edition should state that uncertainty. If the evidence cannot support a claim, the story should be replaced rather than written with false confidence.
